A Nigerian man reportedly sold his home in Lagos for ₦60 million and relocated to the UK — bringing along his two children, now living in a one‑room apartment.
He was criticised by some netizens, with one writing:
> “He sold a house that would have worth 150m in 3 to 5 years for 60m to relocate to UK of all places.”
Others defended his choice, pointing to reasons such as insecurity, inflation and worsening living conditions in Nigeria as justification for the move abroad.
