Do You Support Clients with Budgeting or Money Management?
We’re reaching out to voluntary and community organisations across Luton to better understand the support available for residents around budgeting and money management or debt advice. If your organisation offers advice, workshops, one-to-one support, or any other form of financial guidance, we’d love to hear from you.
Your input will help us map existing services and identify opportunities to strengthen support for those who may be struggling who have trusted relationships with your organisation.
Whether you run a dedicated programme or simply offer informal advice, your contribution is valuable.
Please get in touch to share what you do, how people have accessed your support, and any gaps you’ve noticed in the community or even if you would like to explore training opportunities to assist you.
Together, we can build a stronger network of financial wellbeing support across Luton.

Carbon Literacy for School Staff
Join us for a day of Carbon Literacy for School Staff, run by council officers involved with school climate action from both Luton and Central Bedfordshire.
This training is especially useful for any schools with staff new to the role of sustainability lead, or those that are new to being involved with climate action plans in line with DfE Sustainability Strategy targets and would like subject specific training.
The training provides an internationally recognised (United Nations), interactive and comprehensive background to climate science, impact and action. The training is designed specifically for school staff, with case studies and tangible ideas and actions spread throughout the day.
As this is a trial, places are first-come, first-served for five schools in Luton – limited initially to 1 space per school, with a reserve list just in case additional spaces are made available.
Email myclimate@luton.gov.uk to request a space.
