A lot of Nigerians moving to London keep asking about the different UK visa types and which one is easiest to apply for. The truth is — the system can feel complicated at first, so here’s a friendly breakdown that might help someone today:

✨ Skilled Worker Visa
If you already have a job offer from a UK employer with a sponsorship licence, this is your route. You’ll need:
– A Certificate of Sponsorship
– An eligible job role
– English test
– Proof of funds (unless your employer covers it)

✨ Student Visa (formerly Tier 4)
Perfect for those coming to study. You’ll need:
– CAS letter from a UK school or uni
– Tuition deposit paid
– Proof of maintenance funds
– English language requirement

✨ Family Visa
If your partner or spouse lives in London, you can apply under this route. They’ll need to meet the income requirement and show proof of relationship.

✨ Visitor Visa
Short stays, tourism, graduations, family visits. Not for work!

If anyone has gone through any of these recently — especially in London — please drop your experience below. It helps others a lot 💬🙏🏾
